The afterimage here was modeled after a light going on and off in a fairly light room. I worked a bit towards duration, especially in the second half of the piece (with the afterimage in place of the light). Several problems emerged in this study. The baseline of the text suggests a print mode. The study modeled around the typography, placing something onto it, but not affecting the actual type. And most obviously, there is only one word, not a fuller text. |
