In the very basic sense, chords are separate notes on the scale played at the same time. Here I was attempting to push the limits of word recognition as they are simultaneous in time and space. Here, the background renders the words difficult to decipher. This study came out of the concept maps I was making about the transitions in music and their metaphorical placement within the syntactic hierarchies of language. |
