Movie Credits : Genre

Here the formal choices and transitions tend towards an historical drama genre. The credits don't crawl, but still refresh from top to bottom, retaining an equal amount of screen time. The morph from one name to the next was meant to reflect the reliance on the whole in creating a film.

This study relies too heavily on a standardized morphing effect. The organic nature becomes overused and feels mechanical in its timing over an extended duration. Again, the prescription remains unchallenged in the arena of soundtrack music (used w/out permission: “Rupert Bear” composed by Gabriel Yared, performed by Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, for the soundtrack of The English Patient).
